The GM 80CR vacuum cleaner is a variation of the GM 80 – the vacuum cleaner that has become a vacuum icon in a variety of industries. Lightweight, portable and quiet, the GM 80CR is perfect for use in cleanrooms, research labs and other critical environments. Four-stage filtration system includes a 2 1/4-gallon paper bag, main filter, within the GM-80CR cleanroom vacuum cleaner removes particulates before returning ultra-clean air back into the workspace. micro-filter and either a HEPA or ULPA exhaust filter. A conductive hose and accessories provide ESD protection.Unit meets the electrical safety standards outlined in the Williams Steiger Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. This vacuum cleaner is interference-suppressed, and its single-phase motor is equipped with a thermal protection device to prevent overheating. Overall design is for intermittent duty.
The 4-stage filtering system:
Stages 1 and 2: Large particles are trapped within a bag and napped cotton filters.
Stage 3: Air passes through a specially designed micro-filter that is rated 99.9986% efficient @ 0.5µm size particles.
Stage 4: Air passes through an ULPA Exhaust Filter (ULPA filter Model #GM-80CRU), which is 99.9995% effective in removing particles 0.12µm.
